"Everything was great, good breakfast, clean room"

The Fallon Hotel

8/10 Good

"The owners are kind and sweet and accommodating. Brittany is a rockstar!! The hotel is under renovation so very rudimentary. The price is quite low in comparison to other hotels so don’t expect what you’d get at an average hotel (Marriott, Best Western, Hyatt, etc.) including air conditioning (in some rooms). The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets. I love what they’re trying to do here. Best of luck with the continuing improvements!"

Luxury Tiffin RV • Pool • Hot Tub • Fire Pit • 5 Acres • Near Penn State

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I bought Penn State football tickets and could not locate one vacant hotel room near the stadium. So I searched outside the area and located this gem. I've never stayed in an RV before, and this RV was so nice!! The RV was spacious and very clean. It literally looks brand new. I felt right at home. It has a large seating area and full kitchen if you want to prep simple meals inside. The king size bed was comfortable with a sleep by number remote system separate for each side of the bed. There are TVs in the living and bedrooms, central air & heat, and a powder and bathroom. Plenty of comfort and amenities for a small family. The wooded area where the RV is located is slightly uphill from the owner's home and has an outdoor grill and fire ring. The friendly owners came up to show us how to use the systems in the RV, which was necessary and helpful, and they then left us to our privacy. We enjoyed meeting them and having lively conversation. Very down-to-earth people! We sat outside by the fire after dark and just relaxed listening to the night sounds and gazing at the stars. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again! Highly recommended."

8/10 Good

"Wonderful location right on Pine Creek, set back from the road and very relaxing. We like to travel with our dog so it was wonderful that he was permitted to join us! The PA Rail Trail is just steps away and offers a safe location to walk for both humans and pets. The initial arrival was somewhat confusing as there are 2 buildings on the same property. This one cannot be seen from the parking area but it is 50 yards to the left. The host provides garden carts to help transport luggage, etc. I believe it is time for a little TLC - some paint on the interior & a deep cleaning of the carpets & furniture which are showing their wear would give a nice fresh feeling to the space. Functional kitchen with utensils, plates, cups, etc. provided. Be sure to bring sugar, oil, coffee filters, etc. as these items are not supplied. A dining table in lieu of the provided island would be a nice swap for families when the weather does not permit eating outdoors. The bathroom has wonderful water pressure - a must for us when traveling. All in all a lovely escape & we would love to return to again. Thanks for having us!"
