The grounds are absolutely beautiful with olive groves, cedars, and gardens. We loved lying in the hammocks and listening to the chicalas. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious, our dinner at il rondini was equally delicious and the local musical entertainment was a great touch. We also enjoyed a spa treatment with local, natural products. Wine and olive oil tasting with Tomasso was excellent. We drove to a vineyard and brought home a bottle of Vin Santo as per his recommendation. We were lucky to meet the local stray cat named, Aldina! 8 minutes to both towns of Volpaia and Radda.
