"We had a lovely family break and made some really special memories exploring this beautiful part of Wales. The chalet is a great base for getting out and about, and Pamela was incredibly helpful, sending detailed information, directions and recommendations before our stay. The chalet is very much a traditional, much-loved family holiday home shared with visitors, rather than a purpose-designed holiday let, so it feels quirky and personal. It had everything we needed, although we found the beds a little uncomfortable. The bathroom is very compact, with a small bath and no shower screen, so sitting in the bath was the easiest way to shower without getting water everywhere. The children enjoyed the pool. The listing describes it as heated, although Pamela did explain when asked that this means taking the edge off the temperature rather than it being a warm pool. We knew the clubhouse/restaurant was closed, although we hadn’t realised this also meant the advertised pool table and arcade games would be unavailable. There is a separate table-tennis room which was open during our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots to explore. We’d particularly recommend the Sunday roast at Cross Foxes – delicious! Overall, we had a lovely holiday, with a very helpful host and a good base for exploring this gorgeous part of Wales."

"I’ll start by saying I really don’t want to post this Review as we don’t want anyone knowing about this place.Everything about the house was perfectFrom Cutlery to towels and having shampoo in the showers for you to use.We really didn’t want to leave. The beach on the door step to the shops and cafes.The board in the kitchen was great and very useful.We will definitely be back.Thank you very much"

"Beautiful property in ideal location for travelling into Twyne and surrounding areas. Spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay. A lovely basket of Welsh goodies on arrival was a nice touch and the owner was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return ."

"This is such a gorgeous 'little' cottage and actually deceptively large inside, with everything you could need for a very comfortable week. Enclosed garden was great for the dog and lots of lovely local walks, Would absolutely recommend this cottage."
