"Great staff and great amenities made for a very enjoyable stay. While Barcelona has many attractions to keep the visitor occupied, the hotel has some nice attributes of its own. The rooftop pool and bar complete with sun loungers, was a nice place to hang out at the end of the day. However the real star was the spa in the basement of the hotel which was wonderful, and a great place to visit after a day’s sightseeing. With staff permanently on hand the spa is clean and well looked after, and I’d highly recommend including a visit or two during your stay."

"Staff was amazing and helpful from reception to the housekeeping/cleaners. Gym was small but functional and it is extra 15 euros to use the spa faculties next door which was being refurbished on our visit and quite busy. The breakfast was basic and the usual. There wasn’t any choice for vegetarians, be nice to have a veg sausage etc. Hard boiled egg was cold on ice and over cooked. Usually it’s warm, maybe it was meant to cold for summer. Apart from that everything was lovely. The location and people around the area. Hotel staff was great and friendly."

"When you get to a certain age, what you need in a hotel changes. Clean room, good pillows and coffee become more important. The rooms are very clean, beds were ok, but not the best pillows. What was lacking were amenities, only one product used for everything in bathroom, no slippers, no spoons with tea tray; only one pod/ satchet of milk per person.Iron will be given on request, not standard in rooms. Lovely lobby area and staff are helpful."
