"The place is gorgeous and very serene. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It's very small so you feel like you're the only people here, which is nice. There are only specific times for check in so make sure you know that ahead of time. We had trouble checking in because our reservation was not in the Collelungo system. But I'm not sure if that was Expedia or the hotel. All worked out and we loved our stay. Highly recommend. "

"I don’t always write reviews, but in this case I just had to, cause I can’t recommend this absolutely beautiful place enough. I’ve been an avid traveller for 40 years, stayed in plenty of top hotels, and this place is easily in my top five of all time. The surroundings look like a postcard, the place itself is beyond idyllic, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Food was great too, especially the breakfast. The staff are friendly, breakfast was amazing with lots of variety in choice and the surrounding areas to the property had ample space and beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and it’s a short walk from and to the city centre. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the authentic buildings with modern amenities - wi-fi and plenty of modern bathrooms. The location is ideal - Castellina in Chianti, with good restaurants and a grocery store, is only 10 minutes down the road and major points of interest (Florence, Sienna, San Gigimiango) are all less than an hour away.
