"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. "If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. "Great location. Owner very accommodating allowing us to leave our cases until check in. Owner responded very swiftly to any issues we had. Be aware there are many steps down to entrance and then stairs up to the accommodation. Breakfast ordering was a bit of a phaff having to download an app and each guest had to create an account in order to choose breakfast items. "
