"This is a nice wee hotel, conveniently located very close to the train station. Although some might say that the place needs a bit of a refurb, we liked its vintage features very much. Our room had a new bathroom and the air con worked very well. The room was clean, and had a comfy bed. All staff were super nice. I will stay here when I visit Pisa again."

"POSITIVES The hotel is amazing of you like old things. It’s very historical and has a lot of old artifacts that are fascinating. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. 15 minutes from train station and 15 minutes from the leaning tower. Overlooks the canal which is beautiful. And if you’re lucky you might get a communal balcony to sit out in on the canal. Good size bathroom and reasonable size bedroom. NEGATIVES We were in a side room which overlooked an alley, not normally a problem, but with the current heatwave we were unable to keep the windows open at night due to the street and bar noises which left us with little sleep. The air conditioning unit in our room was also broken. We were left with a small fan that pushed air around in over 31 degree heat, absolutely stifling. The water pressure was poor, and the hot and cold took far longer than it should to kick in. Mostly we had lukewarm water for everything."
