La Dimora di Castroncello is an independent villa with Dependance and swimming pool located in the green Val di Chiana and a few kilometers away from cities steeped in history, art and culture such as Cortona, Arezzo, Siena and Florence. The villa has wisely combined the charm of an old farmhouse with a high level of comfort thanks to a refined and valuable furniture. Immersed in a large garden including a portion of fully fenced wood, the main house and the lovely annex (total 300 square meters) can accommodate up to 12 people. The beautiful private swimming pool of 6 x 12 meters with a Jacuzzi with a diameter of 4 meters (open from May to September) and two gazebos complete the outdoor scenery made even more comfortable by a pleasant garden furniture. In addition, a small and well-kept garden (only during the summer) with fresh vegetables is made available to guests.

===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION =====
The ground floor of the villa opens with a large living room with an ancient stone fireplace (equipped with a very efficient thermo fireplace to heat even the days colder winter), living room-dining room with tables and chairs, service bathroom, kitchen with access to the veranda where there are tables and chairs for outdoor dining as well as a large barbecue, double bedroom with private bathroom with tub / shower and porch. The access to the first floor is possible both from an internal and external staircase, with a typical loggia and is composed of: a large living double sofa bed, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms with shower, laundry room and large terrace. Dependance: a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower, porch furnished with outdoor furniture. All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets.

All prices include: bed linen, towels, pool towels, courtesy kit, WI-FI, electricity, water, gas for kitchen use, initial and final cleaning, welcome basket

Extra: air conditioning and heating to be paid on the spot accorting to consumption

Swimming pool with jacuzzi (unheated) open from May to September

No smoking inside the villa.

Wow! What a villa. The location, the property, the rooms, the ambiance - it was all perfection. We were a family of 9 (5 adults, 4 children), and it was plenty of space. The 3 teenage girls loved having a separate guest house to themselves, while the rest of us were in the main house 20 feet away. The pool was refreshing, and there were so many outdoor spaces for meals, drinks and relaxing throughout the week. The villa is about 15-20 minutes from Cortona and about 8-10 minutes from Castiglion Fiorentino (with a convenient train station). Alessandro and Elisa were lovely hosts. Great communication, seamless check-in and check-out process, and they even cooked a homemade Tuscan feast for us on our last day. Highly recommend this property for those looking for a Tuscan vacation getaway.

Wir verbrachten super Ferien in diesem tollem Haus, auch unsere Hunde hatten Spass. Die Eigentümer, Elisa und Alessandro, sind fantastisch, herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns am ersten Abend mit einem sehr feinen Nachtessen verwöhnt. Das Dorf Castiglion Fiorentino bietet alles was man braucht. Nochmals Danke für alles.

La propriété est située un peu en dehors des grands circuits touristiques qui restent toutefois à distance raisonnable. L'accueil, l'accès, l'espace, la propreté, le service, tout était parfait. Les propriétaires sont soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes et dispensent volontiers des conseils. Je vous recommande vivement la cooking class, dispensée par les propriétaires : un magnifique souvenir!
