"Absolutely loved how quiet it was here. The rooms were comfortable and super clean and tidy! Complementary breakfast was great especially for the kids, they loved the make your own waffles! They also have omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, cereal, bagels and more! 10/10 for this hotel We have made a family tradition, we’re from Canada and will be staying at this hotel every time we come to Darien Lake 6 flags! "

"This property was perfect for all the different ages and all slept comforts and kitchen accommodated four cooks and grill was immaculate and kayaks were fun and dock was great for fishing and there was wood already in the large camp fire area. Hot tub was fun. Yard behind cottage was a great area for games and camp ground has a warm family atmosphere with a fun playground. The campground bath house came in handy when the bathroom in cottage was busy. The laundry facilities and bags of ice for purchase was affordable and so handy. Then of course the amazing view of the lake and WiFi and tv were all a plus. A wonderful place and experience. The owners couldn’t be more terrific. A great place"

"Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Gate House! The location can’t be beat for its proximity to the Perry entrance of Letchworth Park, and for its beautiful quiet setting and grounds. My husband especially loved reading beside the fire and gazing at the magnificent stars visible with the backyard light turned off. He says he was surprised by the lack of mosquitos, although he did find one tick. This nicely remodeled but not entirely updated house is thoughtfully stocked with abundant kitchen supplies, lots of extra blankets, a fan in every bedroom, and a variety of books, games, and puzzles. With at least five activities in the basement game area, our children were easily entertained. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the owners responded quickly to our texts. Our cell phones had only single-bar LTE, and Letchworth Park, as well, was pretty much a dead zone. The Wi-Fi service was reliable and reasonably fast. We highly recommend The Gate House as a peaceful getaway for nature lovers!"
