"Stayed for 3 nights on the way from our holiday home to Alicante airport. Maria on recepion was welcoming and very helpful. The girl who ran the cafe/bar was also very attentive. I'm sorry, I didn't get her name. The whole hotel was extremely clean. I would definitely stay again."

"Absolutely amazing and perfect location. Very easy walking to the beach and the Mercado. Surrounded by many restaurants and cafe’s. The place is nice and clean and the staff is the best. Jesus the manager is very friendly and helpful and hands you all the info you need. Will definitely be back!! "

"It's a very nice hotel. All rooms have a balcony and air conditioning. Minor issues in my room were dealt with quickly. There is a beach bar and a terrace bar on the top floor where the sunsets are glorious. Just bear in mind that because of the hotel location, on the beach and in the middle of Santa Pola, it can get a little noisy at times."

"this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy, we owe her deep gratitude for caring "

Beautiful apartment in residence with swimming pools, 10mn from the beaches.

"We had a great stay in this lovely apartment in santa pola, apartment was fantastic had everything we needed and more. Very handy washing machine and tumble dryer, we managed to wash and dry all our clothes before going home :) pools were lovely although slides were only on once and we didnt use them. But we would have had they been on more. Apartment was a good mile from town centre , that was only issue. Overall everything was fantastic. "

Luxury apartment. WIFI near the beach with 30m terrace, air conditioning

Comfortable apartment.

"Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our 4 week stay.The host was helpful and kind, and responded quickly to messages.I will list some pros and cons.ProsThe beds were comfortable with warm duvets. The shower was good with adequate hot water.The heating was efficient on the few times we had to use it. The wifi had good speed and coverage.The south facing balcony was nice, in the sunshine.Location was excellent, only 3 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes to restaurant with pool. (closed while we were there in January) 12 minutes walk to the port with restos. shops and bars or to the Saturday market.ConsThere is no Netflix tv unless you have your own personal Netflix account. Only one front door key provided. (as an aside, this type of door that locks behind you with no handle, spooks me)Only one reclining chair on balcony.The balcony door handles were broken.The apartment has been divided in the past and the dividing wall has poor soundproofing. There is a squealing noise when the water is run next door.The kitchen lacked a few items and it wasn't clear how the oven worked. (We didn't try the dishwasher, we successfully used the washer and tumble dryer.)"

"Sure, here is the rewritten text: "Wonderful property located right next to the beach with all the comforts of home. The estate has multiple pools, but with the beautiful sea and beach just 100m away, who needs them? The host was great with communication and even allowed us a late checkout at no extra cost. The only downside is the need to go up and down stairs frequently, as the master bedroom is on the 2nd floor. Mercadona, a convenient shopping option, is only 1km away. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would love to repeat it. Thank you so much Gareth for a wonderful stay.""

An enjoyable short break in Santa Pola

"Property was as described, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. A good set of video instructions were sent to us before arriving, so we could easily locate and access the property. Santa Pola is a lovely place and was not overly busy over the Whitsun break. We enjoyed the local beaches, restaurants, bars and the castle with a museum. It was easy to pick up a taxi from the airport to the apartment for under £25. We used a local taxi service for the return to the aiport and prebooked via whatsapp."
