I didn't feel safe being a single traveler but since there was no one there when I was checking in, I thought I would be okay. "This hotel was very clean but a little dated. It did appear that some upgrades were being made. The staff was very friendly! We were happy our little dog was welcome and there was a nice grassy area for her to explore. The complimentary breakfast was good and had lots of choices! The only thing that needs attention is the pool area. The pool itself had very clear/clean water and was very nice and relaxing, however the area around the pool was not clean. It appeared that maybe there was a pool...

"I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff."

"The staff was kind and the breakfast was great. The room looked very clean but smelled very strongly of body odor and chlorine. The mini fridge also had a very bad smell. I had a hard time sleeping due to the strong smell but otherwise I enjoyed my stay."
