Very big room and comfortable with a great shower. Elevator was amusing - operated by a "sloth" (ie, it was very slow). Breakfast was great, with fabulous staff. Options for food was very limited - a bit expensive in the hotel and not much nearby.

Breakfast for us was not free. But saying that it was excellant. So much so we had a few evening meals there as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Every ony frow reception staff, waiters/waitresses and cleaners were all very curtious and helpful.

This is a great place to be. Nice walks along the river and nice grounds. The staff was great and Josephine was charming. All good. We stayed here because we were flying out from Shannon the next day. The half hour drive to Shannon was easy (in the morning). We chose well.
