"The place is updated and very nice. Bed was very comfortable. The area is gorgeous as you are on an inlet and beach within walking distance or a very quick drive. Our host was so nice. We really liked her. The breakfast was just incredible. Rooms are so solid you don't hear a peep from anyone else and you have your own entrance. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again. "

"When you are paying top dollar for a property, one would NOT expect to have to check in and then drive three blocks and pay an additional 15 euro for electricity, no instructions on how to turn on hot water, no towels, and overall one, if not the worst rental experiences I have every had anywhere in Europe, for the money they are charging all items should have been included. "We were upgrade to a Suite at no extra charge while on a 2-week vacation in Ireland. Good news: The rooms and the entire hotel was UPGRADED within the past few months, In addition, the staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful - especially Mave at the front desk. We highly recommend this hotel. Not sure why there's some older negative reviews/ratings but we believe they no longer apply to this hotel."
