This spacious and charming oceanfront cottage is perfectly positioned to help you unwind, whether you’re seeking adventure or simply a peaceful place to relax and take in the scenery.

    Located right at the entrance to Delivery Cove (the walking track to Castlerock), the property offers unbeatable access to everything this iconic area has to offer. Enjoy an easy walk to the Castlepoint lighthouse, Delivery Cove Track, and the reef, while the Castlepoint shop is a short walk down the road. The beach is on the doorstep with direct access.

    Only two hours from Wellington, Castlepoint is a breathtaking year-round destination—ideal for summer beach holidays or cosy winter escapes surrounded by dramatic coastal scenery.

    Special Conditions:
    Pets are welcome with prior approval. Well-behaved dogs are allowed; owners are kindly asked to clean up after them.

Amazing weekend On the Beach at Castlepoint! Stunning views, easy access to the beach, and the bach was so charming and had everything we needed. Easy and responsive communication with the host. Would highly recommend and can't wait to get back there soon!

Perfect location on the beach and very close to the lighthouse. We loved the sunny window seat! No WiFi but there's a good selection of dvds and some board games. I'd happily stay here again.

The location was amazing! Beach front with a very short walk to anywhere you would want to go in Castlepoint. We walked everywhere. Very cool classic kiwi bach. Thank you for having us!

Perfect Location right above the beautiful beach, stunning views and easy access. We didn't see or read that you need your own Linen but got it sorted. Anna is very helpful and Her Batch is comfortable and well set up.

Easy to find, easy to get in, amazing view, one of the best in Castlepoint I think. Large coffee plunger :) So many books, games and DVD's- I would love to be stranded there for a month! Host was wonderful, thanks so much for having us Anna.

Fantastic location! Anna was wonderful to deal with, and her father was awesome to talk to. I missed it on the listing that you supply your own linens, for a fee Anna provided. I really enjoyed the location but there were a couple of things that probably need to be addressed. One of the window latches were broken off. Burn marks on the counter and generally needs an update. From my experience with a vrbo, bathroom incidentals such as shampoo, conditioner and shower soap are provided. Will still recommend staying here and will probably go back myself but better prepared maybe.

I love this wee bach for the views and the closeness to the beach. One time coming down the lighthouse path I saw a stingray swimming along, this morning there was a wee seal on the beach! Unexpected gifts ! I like I can take my dog, he loves it but makes me go for more walks than I intend to. The community is always friendly, dogs all seem to be off leash, so they're all friendly as well. The house was nice and clean and communication with Anna was easy. I've introduced a couple of friends to this place this weekend and I know they plan to go back. They arrived before me and when they drove in they said their reaction was a bit flat.......until they went around the beach side! They absolutely loved the whole place, the cuteness of the bach, the views and the lighthouse changing colours at night. Thank you for allowing us to stay. We'll be back!

The bach is in a brilliant position, very close to the beach but high enough to be out of any wave danger. Great views of the sea. Good views of the lighthouse which is lit up at night. The kitchen has an air-fryer which was easy to use, and a good big coffee plunger. Our weekend away had terrible weather, but the bach quickly heated up inside and was nice and warm. There was a problem with the new Smart TV, no satellite signal, but I'm sure it will be fixed before the next guest. There is no WiFi and radio and tv reception is pretty weak on the coast, but 4G phone reception is fine. Hopefully we'll have good weather for our next visit.

Fantastic position and beautiful views, couldn't ask for better. We had a great time here, some maintenance issues that affected us such as the badly maintained drive that broke the bracket under the exhaust of our car but if we ignored these then it was a very relaxing holiday. You won't be disappointed by this lovely little house.
