"The property is very secluded and that's not a bad thing. We only saw 2 other people the first few days and the day before we left a family arrived at the property next to us. Other than those we hardly saw anyone else while on the beach, snorkeling or in the pool. It is so beautiful that we hardly wanted to explore the rest of the Island but did go into town ( cultural village) for for a few visits and explored some of the beaten path trails that led to some extraordinary beaches,and it seemed like we were the only ones enjoying the beaches.The house a charm and laid back feeling"

"Two weeks at 9A of Pure Paradise--Mother's Day flowers waiting for us. We came back for the solitude and gorgeous beaches and were NOT disappointed. Visited several new beaches and restaurants--Hidden Treasures is back on the beach and was fantastic! Snorkeling off the back porch was a unique experience every time out. We will be back. "

"The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager."

"Cool house with a great location on the island. House had everything we needed and was very private. This was the only spot on the island we were bit up by the bugs and a new ceiling fan above the outdoor couch would have been nice to have for some airflow. "

"My mom and I absolutely loved our recent stay at Banana Winds on Cat Island! The location was stunning—right by the ocean—and the home was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped, and relaxing. It was hard to leave the house because it was so peaceful and beautiful.The locals were absolutely lovely, and the caretaker, Harrison, truly went above and beyond. My mom has alpha-gal syndrome, and this was her first time traveling with it. Harrison not only prepared two delicious, completely safe meals for her, but he also used fresh fruits and vegetables straight from his own garden—which made everything even more special. His thoughtfulness took so much stress out of the trip. He also gave us several personal recommendations for amazing beaches and places to explore—we discovered some real hidden gems thanks to him.We were also able to safely eat at a few restaurants, including Hidden Treasures and Greenwood, both of which were incredibly accommodating and caring about her allergies.I usually don’t return to the same place twice—I want to see as much of the world as I can—but this is one place I know I’ll be back to. I can’t wait to bring friends and family here and make it a regular part of my life. We truly can’t recommend it enough for its beauty, comfort, and the incredible kindness we experienced."
