"Friendly staff. Comfortable room "

"My wife and I stayed at Romano House on two occasions recently while coming/going to Sicily through Catania. Roberta checked us in both times. She was extremely gracious and helpful. She greatly simplified our travels by suggesting use of the Metro, which stops only a block away, to get to bus and train stations. The breakfast was very good. Although not located in our favorite part of the city, Romano House proved to be an excellent stay on both visits, and we would certainly return."

"I’ve stayed at many properties in Catania but this is among the best. The staff is very helpful. The room was huge and bath comes with amenities. Daily housekeeping. And right on via Etna so shops and cafes are just downstairs but the hotel provides a great breakfast in a beautiful room overlooking the Bellini gardens. I can’t say enough about how nice this place is. There is no elevator if mobility is an issue but the staff speaks good english if that’s important to you. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Interesting property with unique decor. My room had a view of a beautiful church building. Location is perfect, just a few steps from Etnea Road which is a very long street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Modern bathroom and adequate towels. Staff could be a little bit more welcoming. "

"It was a short stay, but I would stay longer next time. Hotel is on the excelent area, close to park, close to shoping and restaurant area, staff was so helpfull. It was clean, quiet. We didn't need car to visit the city, just a short walk. Rooms are very, very small. Maybe good for solo traveler, but it was tihgt for 2. Anyway, I recomend this hotel to anyone."

"We loved our stay at this unique hotel which was a former palace. The staff was helpful and friendly especially Francesco. The breakfast was good and it was served in a lovely garden courtyard. The rooftop deck was an added bonus. It was easy to take a cab to the city center so we were not bothered by the location which was near the train station. We would stay there again! Jeanine and Paul"
