"This was a very nice hotel and easily walkable to the main city center, restaurants, and points of interest. The breakfast was very nice, and the staff was wonderful. They have a nice little lobby bar for a nightcap as well. The hotel is old, but it maintains history, authenticity, and culture. I loved the spacious rooms and sitting areas."

"The room was great. I liked the kitchen facilities which suited my needs. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was professional and attentive. I liked the fact that I could turn on and off the air conditioning to suit my needs. "Wonderful location just a few steps from the cathedral. The rooms are simple but very nicely furnished; some with spectacular views from a balcony. The breakfast room on the top floor offers wonderful views (including of Mount Etna) and outside eating. The staff could not be more helpful or nice. There is an elevator, but it is necessary to negotiate some stairs as the levels are split. So enjoyed being right in the heart of the city. Since the windows are all double paned, the noise of the street does not penetrate."

"The caretaker was wonderful and so friendly. When our arrival was highly disrupted by Etna spewing ash causing our flight to be diverted to Trapani causing us to arrive at 6am instead of 10pm, he was very welcoming and reassuring throughout the process. The rooms as comfortable and could be made quite dark, cool and quiet to enable us to sleep even if it was from 6am-12pm or going to bed closer to dinner time (8pm) than night time. The location is also unbeatable for walking access to lots of different areas (both the city central and less touristy spots. I would absolutely stay here again. The only reasons I don’t give this place 10/10 is the bed was not the most comfortable (but still comfortable enough) and the shower was a bit tight."

"Our stay was outstanding. The location is superb, the room was well-designed and fun, breakfast was generous and tasty, and the access to excursions (and ability to book within 24 hours) was impressive. However, the key selling point of Dome for us was Nicola and the staff. Nicola was attentive and understanding from start to finish. He was available (if needed) by text throughout our stay and helped us with many things. Our flight was relocated and he was at hand to offer options. Fully recommended."
