We loved this apartment. Location was excellent, right in the centre of all that is going on. We had such amazing attention and guidance from Nicola. The apartment was beautifully designed and was incredibly clean. It had a small kitchen area with everything you needed. Breakfast was delivered to our room and I just loved the pistachio croissant! We ate it out on the outside patio space. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we loved Catania city too.

The apartment was beautiful, something different from an hotel. For a short stay in Catania the location was perfect, easy walk to Cathedral and other main sites. Lots of restaurants and bars within short walk too. Breakfast choices were great. Nicola was very friendly and helpful and organised taxis to and from the airport for us. We really enjoyed staying in the apartment.

Service and quality at its best

Wonderful stay. Very nice and modern design. Absolutely excellent service. Breakfast was fabulous as we were able to make our personal choice on a more than 20page menu and was delivered in our room as requested on the chosen time. Will certainly return if we visit Sicily again soon.

Check in was simple and communicative, using WhatsApp. Nicola was friendly, and at the time of check in, met with us and provided a map to show locations in the city to walk. He also organized a transfer to the airport for a Sunday morning flight. That person showed up at 745am, with a clean, luxury vehicle, and charged us what a taxi would have charged us for the ride. The apartment was in good shape, and was well appointed, including an impressive bathroom with an excellent shower. Please note that it involves a walk-up, and so may not be great for those with limited mobility. The location was excellent - within walking distance of all the locations we wanted to attend. We had a dinner at the Michelin-rated restaurant, Sapio, which was a five minute walk away, and made coming home afterwards simple. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our large, comfortable apartment with a marble bathroom and an outdoor private terrace. The king bed was comfortable and Nicola brought our choice of breakfast every morning. There was a small kitchen but there are lots of restaurants nearby so we didn’t need to cook. The area is close to the historic center of Catania which is very walkable. Nicola organized a great tour to Savoca and Forza D’Agro where the Godfather was filmed for us and looked after us magnificently, including bringing breakfast really early on the day we left to fly to Rome and booking transfers for us on both arrival and departure. The area is rather grubby with lots of graffiti but is quite safe and the security was great. Do let Nicola know when you are arriving because you will be met and shown a warm welcome but he is not on the premises. This was a great stay and we warmly recommend Scene Suites Apartments as a base for exploring Catania.

Great central location. Beautiful old apartment with large living area and a great large super king bed. Ideal place to explore Catania. We used the car parking garage recommended by the staff which was a literal 2 min walk away. Bed nice and comfy and most importantly, ice cold air con in the living area and the bedroom. Lovely touch with the breakfast being delivered with gorgeous pastries.
