Lovely hotel in the walled city of Carcassone. Great setup for parking since you can't park in the city. They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. Private event in their dining room when we were there but they made reservations for us in a lovely restaurant a few door down (Comte Roger) and was one of the best of our trip. This hotel was wonderful. Carcassonne is a special town and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located at the base of the castle with excellent views of the castle and surrounding hillsides. The restaurant offers an open-air experience, and we enjoyed happy hour wine in the evening then a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room itself was the best part - eloquent yet comfortable. We will stay here again when we visit Carcassonne.

This hotel is not for luxury travellers, but it's clean, the staff is excellent, and it's close to the airport. The parking lot is secured overnight by a gate (they give guests the code), and although the rooms are small, they have everything you need. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains that work better than any I've ever had before. I would definitely stay here again.

Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. Grazie ancora Francesco!!!
