"Casa Mama Elvira was a delightful experience. It is a very old property, with many stairs and beautiful finishes. The staff is warm, welcoming, and out to please. This is a family owned business, and the family is involved from early morning until night. There are several restaurants available, and it is a quick walk to the old town. We drove a car there and parking can be a challenge in the old town area. But once you’re settled, it was a great experience."

"Historic hotel near the station and well located for the Duomo etc. the room although spacious was not very welcoming, and the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Some lovely pieces of furniture here and there and the staff were generally very nice. One downside was a very annoying door bell that went off in the front reception for every automatic door opening, which occurred even after a light gust of wind. Shame as the hotel could be great."

"This is a beautiful apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Lecce. Your host is very helpful. The bottle of wine, gift of local desserts, and the homemade pound cake was such a nice touch. It was clean and very comfortable. This is the nicest b and b we have stayed in this trip! I would strongly recommend. We will return if we come to Puglia again."
