"When we checked in - it was a HORRIBLE room - dirty, broken things, unacceptable. After some time we were assigned another room - at another wing of the property - and everything was fine there . So he average of 1 and 5 is 2.5 - I give it a 3 - to be generous. The food service was awful. Slow service, wrong items served - after waiting for almost an hour - dirty dishes left right next to us when guests had left. We stopped eating on premises. The beach was lovely and the property is beautifully i landscaped. "

"Nothing was good. They canceled my reservation because they don't accept service dogs. This was after l had checked in and walked a half mile hill to the room. "

"Bob and Leslie were excellent hosts. Bob picked us up at the airport ( eventhough our flight was quite late) and stopped at a grocery store so we could pick up supplies for breakfast next day. On our way to the property, we realized we forgot to buy eggs. After checking in, Bob was at our door with 6 eggs to get us through the AM, until we could get groceries the next day!The apt. was clean, but dated. Everything you need was there. We were surprised by no hot water in the bathroom sinks ( cold was working fine) and both showers had adequate hot water from electrically heated shower heads.Leslie checked in twice to see if we had any issues, and when we explained the bottom broke out of our glass coffee press ( no coffee maker), it was immediately replaced. When the 2nd one broke, a coffee maker was supplied.Be prepared for some steep hills if you dont have a vehicle, or want to use taxis (25.00 ec) from the carneage to apt. Walking is an option, but its a workout!The view is great, and we spent a lot of our evenings on our balcony watching the ships and activities in the harbour.There is a Trinidadian restaurant right across the road. Everything is homemade by a husband & wife team. Food is fantastic, and portions are generous. Darrin & Mel ( the owners) are wonderful, friendly people.Its a must visit for sure!"

"Room needs some work bed was shaking the closet and bathroom door couldn't close properly. There was no space for fiolded clothes just some hangers. And to note also if AC needs to be turned off when not in room it should be mention on the website. Bed also was poorley constructed.."

"Construction outside door ...noisy neighborhood.. Internet 1st night..although I messaged Mr Beggs about it...no resolution to issue...booked for 2..was provided with 1 towel..had to ask for a clean towel ...definitely not returning "

"This property was misleadingly advertised and my stay was unpleasant & stressful. The listing advertised an apartment with a balcony, however I was placed on the ground floor with no balcony at all. This alone felt deceptive. More seriously, the main entrance door lock was faulty. It was an electrical code lock attached to an old wooden door and clearly incompatible. I was locked inside the apartment on multiple occasions. After the first two incidents, the hosts had the opportunity to fix the issue. Instead, I was told the lock had a knack, which is completely unacceptable when guest safety is involved. Despite my initial request to change the lock immediately, they insisted it was fine - until I continued to get locked inside repeatedly. The lock was only replaced later around my schedule, after several unsafe incidents. After these issues, I requested a refund for the unused portion of my booking. At this point, the hosts became hostile and uncooperative. Communication stopped, toiletries were not replenished, and clean towels were not provided. It was clear this change was because I reported the issues to VRBO. To make matters worse, the hosts refused my refund for days I had not stayed, effectively forcing me to stay in the dilapidated property for the remainder of the booking, whilst the hosts were unresponsive. Overall, this property was inaccurately advertised, with serious safety concerns and unprofessional host behavior. I would DO NOT recommend this rental."

"Shopping was good, apartment was clean, and well equipped, access to food can be a stretch, people are friendly and approachable. The landlord very polite, kind and considerate."

"Exceptional stay and an amazing host. The place exceeded expectations, and the location was perfect—right in the center of everything with so much to do just outside the door.When we were stranded due to a travel ban, the host went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure all our needs were met and addressing any concerns immediately. His kindness truly made the experience unforgettable.This was my first time in this country, and I absolutely loved it. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Highly recommend—book this place, you won’t regret it"
