"We have just returned from a 2-week stay at Villa Mierlo with our two teens and were really sad to leave. It's a lovely house in a quiet hillside location with amazing views from every window (you can see the sea, the Pyranees and Spain) and a good sized pool, which we used to the full. "We really enjoyed our stay close to Castelnou. Very remote and relaxing. Description very valid, as upper maisonnette bedroom cannot accessed by toddlers or elderly, narrow stairs. Ants and mosquitos were there but not so many. Do not leave food openly in the kitchen over night. Equipment perfect. We loved the plancha! Would highly recommend the Villa!"

"We had a lovely stay with great cycling and walking in what is a really beautiful area. Su gave us a vast amount of helpful information about the locality. Beds comfortable, modern kitchen, showers great, pool lovely and we enjoyed having plenty of space in the garage for bike storage etc. Boulangerie close by and Lidl also near. Isabelle the local manager dealt with any queries very efficiently."

The outside of the villa looks a little in need of repair in places but very chic and in keeping with the area. "Le logement est charmant et les pieces sont spacieuses. Il est très bien placé et facile pour se garer. La proprietaire est disponible et très sympathique. Ainsi que sa voisine avec qui j'ai échangé les clefs. En revanche, je déconseille avec des petits en bas âges car il y a beaucoup d'escaliers et les sanitaires se trouvent au rez de chaussé alors que les chambres sont au second (ou 1er pour le canapé convertible).
