"This wee stay was just what I needed. From agreeing to an early check in…to the best porridge I’ve had in years, it was just lovely. Granted, it is an old building, but it’s full of character, and while perhaps the water pressure isn’t as enthusiastic as some may like, there’s no rush, it’s easy to relax at The Old Rectory. "

"The stay was beautiful and relaxing, outside the window had beautiful rolling fields with plenty of cows in, dogs greeted us when we arrived Bie and Best, it was brilliant. Alison made us feel so welcome and relaxed and the breakfast was made to order and fantastic! "

"B.P. Lodge has had a chequered history in recent years. Wonderfully it seems to be in good, caring hands right now. En-route from the Scottish Highlands to Kent - it makes an ideal overnight stay with a good evening meal available if you want one. Pooch-friendly Room 11 is lovely. It’s at the rear of the property, so no noticeable traffic noise from the busy main road at the front. We received a great welcome & D.V. look forward to returning "

"We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "

"This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. Hillary went out of her way to take us to get groceries as we were without acar. Loved them all! We can't say enough good about these folks. Would definitely stay there again!"
