"The hotel is currently under major construction, making it difficult to give a full rating. The bed was comfortable, and while the room was very small, it worked for sleeping and showering.
The bathroom lighting is very dim, making it difficult to apply makeup or do hair.
Breakfast is available for $10 but is not included and requires a ticket; the attendant is very strict about this.
Parking is $30 per day in a garage that is somewhat in disarray due to construction. A major plus is that although checkout is at 11:00 AM, garage access is allowed until 11:59 PM, which was very helpful. We were in town for the Lone Star Regional Volleyball tournament at the convention center, and with Sunday game times being TBA, the extended parking access added convenience.
The rail train is located across the street, but there is significant walking between connections. While inexpensive (about $1.25 per person per ride), it can be confusing and frustrating if you’re unfamiliar with the city. We found Uber/Lyft to be a more convenient option."
