"Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine.
Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast.
The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo...
"What a wonderful place close to the Loire. This old farmhouse offers spacious rooms and a generous breakfast in the morning. The owners are so helpful and lovely. It is not the Ritz in Paris, but it is a gem in the countryside. From here you can drive easily to the amazing castles along the Loire. We will be back! "
"A lovely restful stay. Our suite was beautiful, delicious breakfast in the mornings, very nice heated swimming pool and a ping-pong table. There's also a separate shared kitchenette and fridge/freezer for guests which is handy so you can prep a picnic or make a salad or pasta for dinner in the garden. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time."

"We had a wonderful stay at Natalie’s lovely hotel. The room set-up was perfect for our family of 5, with a beautiful communal terrace looking over the garden just outside our room. Natalie’s warm welcome and amazing cooking and hospitality made our stay really memorable. The children loved the toys in the room, and playing in the garden. Thank you Natalie! We hope to come back and explore the region more next time!"

"In 1969 I was in France with my father for the 25th anniversary of DDay. After visiting friends and all his old war sites, we spent a week touring the Chateaux of the Loire. It was an amazing experience then and I’ve been waiting 56 years to return. We originally chose Pierre’s cottage for its location and it did not disappoint…in fact it was perfect! We were able to visit 10 chateaux in the week we were there! What a lovely wee cottage and Pierre Joseph Jean Marie was the penultimate host always helpful with advice and recommendations and a full basket of wood for the fire at night. And weren’t those limestone caves at the back of his property amazing? An area so rich with history and beauty. What a great adventure…Merci for your part in it, Pierre…I’m already planning Le retour!!"
