"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...

"We had two rooms, each with a sleeping area, nicely-furnished sitting area, and large bathroom--all this for an unbelievable reasonable rate. The dining room is beautiful. The breakfast, was outstanding and reasonably priced. We did not have dinner here. The front desk staff and dining room staff were extraordinarily helpful and capable."

"Lovely accommodation. Separate sitting area was comfortable. Bedroom was lovely and clean as was the ensuite. In a quiet area with plenty parking. Eating outlets close by , walking and further afield but close by car.Hosts were very nice and accommodating. "

Very good for Cher and Chenonceau

"The property was well equipped, there were 2 excellent on-suite bedrooms. The local information provided was very helpful. It is very convenient for Chenonceau. My key number one criteria on selecting a property was 3 bedrooms for 3 adults. The property is listed as 3 bedrooms however on arrival we found that it was 2 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living/kitchen/dining room. The sofa bed was one of the most uncomfortable that I have ever slept on. My wife is not usually bothered by noise but had to close the windows when sleeping on the sofa bed at 5am as traffic noise woke her up."
