At Cannon Hall Farm, there are pigs, sheep, cows and a beautiful shire horse, as you might expect. (It's lovely to go in late Feb/early March to see the new lambs and piglets!) But there are also these Hungarian woolly pigs(!), rabbits, goats, reindeer, meerkats, Shetland ponies, donkeys, and ferrets! There are also playgrounds and climbing frames, and you can take a bag of feed around with you.

"A lovely location to stay for a few days walking. Owners and staff welcoming and friendly, good food, breakfast & evening, good service. Shepherds huts are clean, warm & cosy. Within good distance for both Chatsworth House & Bakewell also good walks from the inn. I had a very pleasant stay, thank you to the staff."

"The restaurant was lovely and the staff very friendly. The food was good value for money. We went to Wentworth Woodhouse Flower Show and it is a very easy walk. There is also a large garden centre very near. There was plently of parking at the property and the bedroom was huge. Very good place to stay."
