Stayed here at least 5 times! Love the location, view and listening to the waves crash!I suggest a second hook in master bathroom so both guests can hang individual toiletry bags..only 1 hook in bathroom now....plus a few hanging shelves would make the bathroom use much more favorable!

The place was clean and great location. But..... the dishwasher was broken and leaked water that never drained. The management was unresponsive to our emails and phone calls.

Title

Within 15 minutes of arriving I called both VRBO and Vacasa and said we could not stay and requested another place to stay or a refund. I was told there is no other place to stay. My wife is disabled and it took us 45 minutes to get her up the property steps with extreme difficulty. It was not safe for her so we stayed overnight and left the next morning.Id like a refund!

Ocean Front Haven

We have been visiting the central coast for 20+ years and we love the little town of Cayucos. This property did not disappoint and waking up to the ocean for the week was so refreshing. The location is perfect for a stroll on the beach and into town. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house.

Nice Property!

We rented both the upstairs property and the downstairs for a family reunion over thanksgiving-Great kitchens, though minimal dishes,drinking glasses ,silverware for 12 people-The toilet in the hall didn’t refill,so had to be done manually. we didnt report it while there, because it was manageable-just FYI! The one thing I would say was that there is a lot of noise from upstairs to downstairs! the previous tenants warned us, but it isnt insulated and should be considered! Great stay in Cayucos as always! Location,location,location! amazing.

Beachy Beach House

The view from the balcony is the most outstanding of any place I've ever stayed. I couldn't take my eyes off that glorious ocean right below the house for a long time. The house is very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was nice. Beds were comfortable. In a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. I would definatily go back.

Great Location

Loved the location which overlooks the beach from the 2nd floor. Place was very clean and decorated with a lovely Ocean theme. Only recommendation is to get some more comfortable furniture, chairs in living room and kitchen and beds were all hard.

Overpriced

Beautiful views and nice location close to town. However, the place is small, there is no private stairs to the beach, the property is located on a narrow spot on the beach and because of the high tide there was no beach. The couch and chairs are the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat in. We love Cayucos and the views but because of the items mentioned above this place is way overpriced.

Great view but uncomfortable furnishings

This house has a beautiful porch and view of the ocean. Great location for watching the waves crash and gorgeous sunsets! There was plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. However the living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable, the couch only had thin cushions on plywood. The beds were uncomfortable as well, the mattresses were hard and not supportive. The furniture needs to be updated. Overall great location but difficult to relax due to the uncomfortable furnishings.

The Perfect Storm

This oceanfront home was PERFECT!! I surprised my mother with a beach getaway for her 74th birthday. She was so excited to spend her birthday at the beach in a beautiful home with amazing views of the ocean. Unfortunately her birthday getaway fell during the week of a major storm. So no blue ocean, no surfers, no sun, but....NO PROBLEM! The house was the sunshine in this stormy moment! We were both ecstatic when we opened the front door and saw where we'd be staying for the next few days! We walked into a large open space that held the dining room, kitchen, and family room. We never even turned the tv on, because we would sit at the window and just look out at the rainy weather and tumultuous ocean. There is a large kitchen table that I was able to unpack a puzzle on, although we never got around to it since there were so many great things to do in this quaint town! (Go visit Happy Go Smile!) I stayed in the ocean themed room and loved it! Cute little dresser, ocean decor, and an open window that helped me fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean! My mom stayed in the master bedroom and she absolutely loved it! There is a little sitting room that you enter before going past curtains into the main room. She loved the high ceiling and got amazing sleep! The only drawback was the stairs to the get to the front door, but I should mention that I have severe arthritis in both knees. It wasn't too bad considering there is a handrail and most people would only make one trip up (not several trips because you are the only one carrying all the luggage) :) We will absolutely stay here again! Rain or shine...this home was PERFECT even in STORMY weather!

This is a really beautiful property with expansive breathtaking views.

This place is such a great little gem in a super quiet town away from it all. The ocean front location is truly amazing and the whole feel is one of tranquility. The rental was spotless and decorated in a really cute beach theme. There are plenty of towels and linens available and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could want. The pans are in good shape too. I would have given it 5 stars except for our complaint that the main bath did not have a shower which impacted our stay and was an inconvenience. We were misled by the photos because they show a shower head in the tub, but upon arrival we found that the shower head was not functional--only the tub fixture was in working order. Also, both bathrooms are equipped with pedestal sinks and have no counter space at all to lay out your toiletries and makeup which was also inconvenient. The beds are not super comfortable but passable. The living room wicker furniture, while super cute and in keeping with the beach theme, is not very comfortable for lounging on or to watch a movie or for taking a nap. There's a large selection of books and binoculars provided for guests use which was nice. The amazing deck is where I spent most of my time on the lounge chairs reading a book and the sunsets were gorgeous. There is no direct beach access from the property so you have to walk a couple of blocks and take a steep stairway down or drive to the main beach for access but we didn't mind that at all. We never heard any noise from other guests or the neighbors--it was very quiet. The property is about half an hour south of Hearst Castle which shouldn't be missed! We really loved our visit to the castle. Our stay was during the first week of April and the trees outside the property were hanging with lemons and limes and flowers were blooming everywhere. The weather was delightful only getting to about 70 degrees as a high and we were lucky enough to have sunny blue skies. Be prepared that the local market closes very early--they are supposed to close at 8:00 but one night we noticed they were closed by 7:30. We did our grocery shopping at the Albertsons in Morro Bay where we also found great places to eat. The tide pools just North of town were fun to see and the elephant seals just North of Hearst Castle were also fun to watch. Please note that the entrance to this property is up quite a few stairs so those with knee or other leg problems will have difficulty upon entering and exiting.

Awesome home for a beautiful weekend!

From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. What a gorgeous view from the balcony and from inside. The windows were sparkling clean and provided a beautiful view of the pacific. A great location, easy walking to downtown and the pier. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed to prepare our meals, enabling us to enjoy the house and sit down to meals overlooking the ocean. The warm and comfy blankets were much appreciated so we could sit outside from morning until night. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding property with breathtaking views

This property more than exceeded our expectations. It is kept in great condition and everything you need is provided - bed linens, towels, kitchen ware and cooking utensils. All you need to bring is food and bar soap. Great property!

Beautiful views! Balcony overlooking the beach. Couldn't ask for a better location.

The condo is spacious, bright and airy and clean. It's decorated in a beach theme. All amenities provided. Best thing about this condo are the spectacular views, the sound of the waves crashing, the private balcony that faces the beach and the views from the living area! The reason for four stars is because we thought the beds were not very comfortable (woke up a little stiff each morning) and the living room sofa was very uncomfortable. A board had been placed under the cushions probably due to not enough support underneath.
