"The hosts, Ian and Jayne, are very friendly and welcoming. Guests may sit in the nice garden in the shade or in the sun. There is a supermarket nearby in Belesta at a distance of a few kilometers. The gite is clean and located in a beautiful setting of nature. There plenty of well indicated walks around the village along the brooks and in the mountains. Montsegur is nearby."

"This gite is in the middle of nowhere. It is only 7 km. from Limoux but because of the nature of the roads it is about a 15 minute trip each way. The only reason to stay here is if you wish to commune with spiders, flies, wasps and mosquitoes -- of which there are many. The facility itself is TINY. Hardly any room to move around. "Clean and recently renovated apartment in the middle of Castelnaudry. Parking free on the street in front. We stayed three nights, rented e-bikes at La Roue Qui Tourne in Castelnaudry, and had a fun visit. I understand from the owner that there normally is an extra fee for towels, so be aware. You will also need to pay attention to the detailed instructions provided by the owner to open the front security door."

"The apartment was in great condition and a great size for a family stay. The kitchen was very functional for preparing meals and eating. We enjoyed staying in Roullens out of the centre of Carcassone for a few nights and it was easy to get into Carcassone and also to Toulouse. We had a great stay and thank you to the wonderful hosts."

"This was a fantastic apartment, two good sized rooms that kept cool by being downstairs, the lounge/kitchen was upstairs and perfectly appointed, easy to cook in and comfortable to relax in. The swimming pool was great to finish the days off with a quick dip and the shower / bathroom was great too. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the location was very good to see the whole region."
