White Pelican in Cedar Key is one of those "must stay" places! A complete overhaul of this  oceanfront townhouse has produced an ultra modern two bedroom, one and one half bath marvel that must be seen to be appreciated. A muted palette of basically white and gray is the theme and produces not only a very pleasing modern appearance but also frames one of the best  gulf views on the island. This end unit is filled with windows and glass doors and offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge islands.

White Pelican is located so close to the restaurants that driving is unnecessary. But when inside the home, you'd think you were miles away.
The top floor living room, kitchen, dining area with the high cathedral ceilings and pergola windows and wraparound deck is dream-like in appearance. "Pinch me, this has to be a dream for it's too beautiful to be real." But it is real. Trust me.

The kitchen is equipped with everything including granite countertops, dishwasher, fridge, electric stove, microwave, and it is very spacious. The dining area is furnished with a tall table and chairs for 6. The living room section of the great room has a sectional couch and a large screen tv with Spectrum Service. The house is equipped with wifi as well. The deck is perfect for dolphin and bird watching, with pelicans flying at eye level, offering fantastic water views.

White Pelican is real and you can book this amazing vacation rental now. The maximum occupancy we allow is 4 and one small pet.

The second floor is home to the bedrooms, full bath, and half bath. The Master bedroom is waterside and has its own ocean front balcony with fabulous sunrise views. It has a super comfortable queen-size bed. It is well furnished, has wifi tv, a chest of drawers for your things, and a closet too. Since White Pelican is an end unit the master bedroom has windows on the end as well as the Sliding Glass doors opening onto the private balcony. A ceiling fan is for your comfort as well as soft linens.

The second bedroom is furnished with a twin size daybed and a concealed second twin that rolls easily out. Both are fitted with very comfortable high-quality mattresses (note target date: mid-June to upgrade the twins to a queen in second bedroom). This second bedroom has an armoire for your things, a half bath for your convenience.

The ground floor has the laundry. The  breezeway area offers just that continual gulf breezes and gulf front vistas plus shade and breeze and comfortable outdoor furniture. This breezeway is also a bonus area where guests can enjoy fishing off the bulkhead while staying out of the weather, with outdoor seating and grilling capabilities, and evening views of the sunset and Dock Street.

Pet friendly for up to 2 dogs under 25 lbs each with fee per dog.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
