"Hidden gem just 2 blocks from downtown and gorgeous sunsets on the water. Property is everything it states and more! Loved rockers on porch overlooking serene gardens with fountains. Cabin is spacious, super clean and provided everything we needed for our perfect weekend stay. Easy walk to all restaurants and shops. Resident chickens in their palm tree coop were an unexpected bonus and fun to watch. No, they did not make noise in case you are wondering! McCormick Management was a dream to work with. We were lucky to meet our hosts who were very sweet and accommodating. We love Cedar Key and will be back to The Depot for sure!"

"Clean and cute unit, easy access. Thoughtful decorating and well-appointed. Great view! We unknowingly booked for the Pirate Invasion weekend which was a fun surprise. Our sunny deck was the perfect distance from the live music at the park. "

"Beautiful location right on the water and exactly as described. Very clean. Loved that we could bring our dog for a small fee. We saw 28 bird species off the dock during our 5 day stay, which was terrific. I believe I saw somewhere in the listing, but can't find now, a warning about the exterior stairs. You will have to negotiate outdoor wooden steps (they kind you can see through) to access the property. If you have arthritis or a fear of heights, this is not the place for you.....but it sure is a great place!!!!"

"If your looking for a place to just get away and relax Cedar Key is that place. Everything is within walking distance. The 2nd st cafe and Steamers restuarant had great food and service. The Beach Shack was very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The host responded to all questions/ concerns immediately. We had a great time and could not have been happier with our choice of host and The Beach Shack.Thank youEd and Valerie Flynn"
