"We always love staying at castaway Bay. A few disappointments this time. It seems they opened and closed a lot of the slides. We went to get ice cream on Saturday night and they were out of almost every topping. They said they were out of sprinkles but I saw a box there on the counter. I think they just didn't want to open the new box because it was the end of the evening. There's not a lot of other options so they should cater until the end of the day. "

"Fabulous glass house offering views of the water from both sides of the house--wonderful architecture. Loved the proximity to all the nature preserves and to the downtown of Sandusky. The house is comfortable, big, and includes everything you need! The main living area is open to the kitchen and has a gas fireplace that we gathered around to play games and read. Went in the winter--quiet and serene. Saw Trumpeter swans, eagles, pelicans, ducks, cranes, herons, and geese just on the drive in to the house. Highly recommend. "
