About this property

Casa Frasquita, in the historic center of Cehegín

  • Casa Frasquita is a house dating back to 1930. It is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Murcian town of Cehegín and has been completely renovated. Frasquita was the nickname given to my grandmother, who owned and lived in this house her entire life. My grandmother, Antonia “la Frasquita,” her husband Jerónimo, and their two sons—my father and my uncle—lived in this house. At first, the house consisted only of the living room, one bedroom, and another bedroom upstairs. In 1952, the second upstairs bedroom was added, and later the kitchen and bathroom were attached to the house.
My name is Jerónimo, and I decided to stay and restore the home where my grandmother, Antonia “la Frasquita,” lived her entire life. I hope all guests will enjoy the experience of staying in a traditional house, with a cozy fireplace, yet featuring all the comforts of a modern home.
The house’s location is unbeatable. It’s located right in the heart of the historic district of Cehegín, which was designated a “Rural Wonder” in 2019. If you want to enjoy a spectacular old town with a multitude of beautiful streets, don’t hesitate to stay at Casa Frasquita.
