"We enjoyed our short stay at Fougeres. Roselyn and Jean Louis were very helpful with directions of how to find the gite. They organised Jocelyn to meet us on our arrival and show us how everything worked. The gite was warm and cosy with all the mod cons to make us comfortable. "The area around the property is an old town that has seen better days. Some properties have been restored beautifully and there is some amazing medieval architecture. Very close by is free, convenient parking and the area felt very safe. The patron is charming and helpful and the owner of a nearby excellent restaurant, serving wonderful food. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was continental and more than adequate."
