"Habitación en un 4to piso SIN ASCENSOR, el edificio parece abandonado, no tiene cerradura la puerta de la calle . La habitación parecía que estaba por ser demolida , aparentaba un motel de 1970 , todo viejo , abandonado , sucio y en mal estado . NO TIENE AIRE ACONDICIONADO, Al querer abrir la ventana , estaba rota la manija , en una habitación de 15 m2 sin ventana y en verano , un calor agobiante . No pasaría una noche ahí devuelta ni aunque me pagaran por hacerlo . "

"Positivo: limpio, céntrico, con todo lo necesario. Y económico Negativo: sin cortinas, entra la luz por la mañana, se escucha todo, y no tiene ascensor en 4 piso. "

"A little tropical paradise. Perfect setting next to the water and total seclusion at bottom of valley. There was no-one staying in the second property by the water but don't think it would have changed our opinion. Accommodation was more than adequate and the outdoor kitchen area had everything you'd need. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the son was our readily available interpreter. "The accommodation was in a beautiful tranquil setting. We really felt that we had a relaxing break in Celerico de Basto. Lovely pool and even a little lake to row a boat on much to the delight of the children. The kitchen was a slightly strange set up but we soon got used to cooking on the BBQ . Only down side was the kitchen sink. No hot water and sink was very small in the kitchen area. We had to boil water on hob for washing up. To be honest we got used to it and we managed fine . "This was an excellent place to stay. Although the menu choices were limited (2 each of starter, main and dessert) we thought that was wholly understandable given the hotel was catering for around 20 - 25 people per day. The food was beautifully cooked. The rooftop pool was a great place to unwind (with the happy hour drinks between 5 and 7pm) before heading to the restaurant. We found the room to be comfortable and clean (and kept that way during our 5 nights there. Initially, we found the access a little challenging (down a small cobbled track for about 500 - 600 metres) and perhaps more precision about getting there would be beneficial."

"This is one of the best hotels in Braga with a spirit. The spa/pool section makes this hotel even better. We appreciate how the modern hotel has been incorporated in the mid-centuries walls. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit Portugal. "
