"The parking lot, lobby, elevator, room all spotless even vent in bathroom which most hotels seem to miss cleaning. The breakfast was average that you get eggs sausage, yogurt, select cereals, pastry and make your own waffle besides normal drinks. But all was decent, and staff was on top of eating area to keep it clean and filled. Staff was friendly and informative when asked about area etc."
"Room was really clean , bed was extremely comfortable, Extra blankets and pillows if needed.
Only thing I would suggest is a hairdryer in the room and makeup remover cloths to save their washclothes.
We dont have a good review on the Restaurant. Pasta for my husband was cold along with my soft pretzel fried in fish oil. Smelled and tasted like fish. French onion soup tasted sour like it was old. Sent it all back. Good thing I didnt have an allergy. and service stinks."
"Keeping in mind that it is an old beautiful home, it was very pretty. Loved all the old charm. The host was nice and told us the history of the house. Will stay there again."
"I like that the room is very clean and close to the Elk visitors center. They have a common microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. They were prompt to respond to my questions. The bathroom is a bit small and the toilet is so close to the wall that your knees hit the wall. Nice room if you plan on just sleeping here a night or 2. Would be nice in the summer with the pool open."
