"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. "Very close to the railway station, giving access to a large part of Italy including Venice, Verona and Modena. The hotel itself was very clean and well kept. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms are good, with the largest bed I've ever slept in (probably 10ft wide), and are impeccably cleaned every day. Bologna itself is a fanatic city to stay in if you want to experience the real Italy. In August, it seemed fairly quiet during the day, but coming alive in the late evening. Absolutely tons of thing to see and amazing places to eat which I thought were reasonably priced. Also, make sure you try the coffee shop just next to the hotel where you can get two coffees and a croissant for €4. The city itself has some wonderful sights, but also you can expect to see a bit of graffiti - not that It matters. We always felt safe and no real evidence of crime when walking out and about even late at night."
