It's a very convenient location. The private beach and the panoramic swimming pool are very nice. The private parking is also a plus, given the fact that the best way to get to Palinuro is by car. The Staff was great: really able to answer all the questions and very kind. The hotel is not very modern. The sea view from the room was fantastic. Our room was a bit too small. We barely find a place to open our luggage. If we were travelling with two baggage, it would have been really complicated. In general, we had a very pleasant stay and we feel to recommend the hotel.

La struttura è decisamente bella e ben tenuta, la piscina bellissima con una vista spettacolare, la spiaggia privata in altra chicca. Personale gentile e disponibile, comoda al centro per la passeggiata serale e un po’ di shopping. Posto dove tornerò volentieri in futuro, e che consiglio a tutti. Unico aspetto dove si può migliorare è la colazione, che è buona ma può diventare perfetta aggiungendo un po’ di frutta fresca di stagione (Anguria / Melone). Ma stiamo parlando solo di rendere perfetto quello che è già ottimo.

We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it.

Of the three places we stayed in Italy, this was by far our favorite. It well exceeded our expectations. The views are amazing, it’s in a great location, and the private beach club and pool are the highlight. Highly recommend!

Terzo anno consecutivo al Grand hotel San Pietro

L'hotel è dotato di una spettacolare piscina a sfioro sul mare cilentano con vista panoramica su Capo Palinuro, purtroppo,però, durante questo ultimo soggiorno ci sono stati alcuni inconvenienti: 1) il pulsante di accensione di tutte le bocchette dell' idromassaggio non funzionava e, nonostante le ripetute richieste da parte della clientela, nessun operatore se ne è occupato, dando le risposte più evasive. 2) rispetto alle precedenti esperienze, mancavano 5 ombrelloni sul lato più panoramico della piscina; in tal modo le postazioni erano insufficienti in base alle presenze. Riguardo alla camera, non avendo trovato disponibili le junior suite, abbiamo prenotato una standard vista mare. Nonostante la consapevolezza di soggiornare in una camera dalle dimensioni ridotte, le sorprese sgradevoli non sono mancate: il materasso è stato camuffato con un topper per tentare di celare condizioni non ottimali dello stesso, le dimensioni del letto erano ridotte e inadeguate per una struttura a 4 stelle e sulle mattonelle del bagno erano presenti diffuse incrostazioni di calcare. Che peccato! Abbiamo assegnato 4 stelle come valutazione sulla base della potenzialità dell' hotel, perché lo conosciamo...certo però...che delusione!!!

Luxe hotel met prachtige ligging

Luxe hotel met fantastisch zwembad én eigen strand (rotsen met zwemtrapje). Geweldig ontbijt op het terras boven het zwembad, opties voor eenvoudige lunch, voor het diner zijn we het dorp in gegaan. Het bed was redelijk, de bedbank dramatisch oncomfortabel. Wij hadden helaas precies de enige kamer zonder balkon. Ook jammer dat het zwembad op de dag van aankomst gesloten was i.v.m. een filmopname. Dat hadden we graag geweten.
