Thought i would just treat myself and was quite surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and the comfort of the room. The locals use the restaurant and it can be quite busy, so booking for a table can be a must (Fri & Sat evenings), but even then the friendliness of the locals is quite good. "Was very well received on door, nicely briefed about surrounding and conditions. Clean room with all the basic stuff present. Bathroom was sharing but had no issues. Enjoyed Scottish half breakfast. Looking forward to stay another time."
