Top Central Alberta Hotel Reviews
Wyndham Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre
8/10 Good
"Good for the price, but is starting to show its age. Rooms were tidy but carpet is getting worn, some staining, wall paper starting to peal in spots. But it still felt clean and safe. Breakfast was OK but because of the hotel size, get there early to avoid it being picked over or lack of seating. Location was a blessing and a curse, close to a lot of things but the traffic in and out can be a bit scary busy. Very helpful and friendly staff. If the price is right, book it."
Sandman Hotel Edmonton West
10/10 Excellent
"It's always a good stay, friendly helpful staff and close to the places I need to go."
Chateau Lacombe Hotel
8/10 Good
"Overall, I had a good experience at Chateau Lacombe. The property was well kept, the rooms were decent, and the staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The parking garage felt a bit shady and could use some attention. Also, there doesn’t seem to be proper ventilation in the bathrooms. If you take a hot shower, the steam can build up enough to potentially trigger the alarm, which is definitely something to be aware of. Aside from those issues, I didn’t have any major complaints. If you’re looking for a place that’s mainly somewhere to stay while being conveniently located near Edmonton’s major highway network, this is a decent choice. It’s not a high-end luxury hotel or anything, but it has a decent vibe, the property is reasonably maintained, and the staff definitely add to the experience. Overall, I would give Chateau Lacombe a 7.5/10. Nothing overly fancy, but a solid and decent place to stay if location and value are your priorities"
