"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

"Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!"

"disappointing experience with my recent stay. Upon arrival, I found the room to be unclean and not up to an acceptable standard. Additionally, the balcony door did not close properly, which allowed mosquitoes to enter the room throughout the night. As a result, I was constantly dealing with mosquitoes flying around me and was unable to sleep comfortably. The air conditioning was also not working properly, making the situation even more uncomfortable. The combination of the dirty room, malfunctioning AC, and mosquito infestation made the room uninhabitable for me. I only stayed one night because I could not tolerate the conditions any longer and felt extremely uncomfortable throughout my stay. Overall, this was a terrible experience and far below what I expected when booking through Expedia. I would appreciate your review of this situation and consideration of appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and poor accommodations."
