"Bad area to stay the night as a tourist it is not close to any of the resorts or tourist attractions I ended up leaving didn’t even spend the night the whole week I was there I had to buy a hotel room close to the beach"

"Our unit at Palm Cay was spacious and modern - three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and we really appreciated the laundry facilities. We also enjoyed the pool, gym and private beach. Our only complaint was the staff and their inconsistent application of "rules" around beach pier access. My adult son and his girlfriend (both age 21) were told that they couldn't access the pier one evening - for no apparent reason (they said it was "closed" - yet there was no signage). However, later that same evening my husband and I sat on the pier with no issue and we saw other "older" guests access the pier with no complaint. The next day, my younger son (age 17), who was sitting with us in the cabana on the pier was told that he had to leave as "children were not allowed". I remarked that the pool sign also states it is "Adults Only" - but includes in brackets (16+), which suggests that the resort considers age 16 and over to be adults. In both cases, we felt that staff unfairly targeted young people, and made our boys - including the 21 year old - feel unwelcome. With a price tag of >$600/night for our stay I expected a more friendly and welcoming environment."

"Great location that is nice and quiet. Has a community pool and private beach. Place was very clean and plenty of room for our entire family. Sharon was helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!"

"We had the most wonderful stay!! The Villa is just as described in the pictures and Winnie is so responsive and lovely. The Palm Cay club is about as perfect as it gets with beachfront and pool chairs and good food as well as fitness center, spa, etc. (note: the optional 25/day resort fee is worth it!). Unfortunately, no snorkeling equipment so you can’t snorkel right off the property unless you bring your own or buy it there and it is about 30 minutes to any sort of nightlife or restaurants but worth it because Fred the driver will drive you for a reasonable price. Also do pack shampoo/conditioner as the samples are very small and you will need to grocery shop for extra trash bags, paper towels etc if there for more than 2 days. The water is so beautiful and it is very safe!! We will be back!! "

"The Blue Bird Beach House was everything we expected and more!!!! We didn't lack for anything. The amenities were great! We could talk about how the house is fully stocked with everything you need but you can read that in all the other reviews. What we can tell you is that from the moment you wake up in the morning until you lay your head down at night you are in paradise. The calm quiet beach, the view and sound of the ocean, the pool, the outdoor bar, the privacy of the beach... we could go on and on. It was perfect!!! We brought our three adult children and their significant others for a family vacation and it didn't disappoint. Rosalie and Robbie are incredible hosts. Very responsive. They truly want you to feel at home and enjoy your vacation. We rented a mini van so we could explore the island if we wanted to, but every time we left the beach house we couldn't wait to return!!! We used the grocery service so that we would have food and drinks upon arrival, but we ventured to the food and liquor stores as needed. The time spent with our children and the memories made are exactly why we chose Blue Bird Beach House. You won't be disappointed!!"

"If you are looking to escape the busy tourist areas of Nassau, this studio cabana is a fantastic choice. The absolute best part is having the peaceful beach right outside your door. It is located on the quieter side of the island right next to Stuart Cove's, which was exactly what I was looking for.Perfect for a single person or couple. You would want a car to get around most likely. Overall, it’s a beautiful, rare spot away from the crowds and I really enjoyed the easy beach access!"

"You will not believe how great this place is. It's like summer camp for adults. This is a real vacation not a tourist trap. The rooms are simple but elegant and very clean. The food is as close to home cooked as you can imagine. The staff is very friendly and will actually come sit with you for meals. It has much more of a summer camp/ reunion/ family vibe than any resort I've ever stayed at. And the diving is top notch. You could be there a week and never dive the same place twice. As a beginner diver it really helped with my skills and made it fun. Plenty of dives for the more advanced divers. There was also bike riding, snorkeling, kayaking in the mangroves, swimming at a local blue hole and plenty of other activities. If you can't feel happy and relaxed here then there is no pleasing you."
