"Even though it felt weird our hotel room was in the basement, it was surprisingly comfortable. It was naturally cool even though we were in a heat wave. Air con noise was my white noise machine. Double bed was comfortable and the shower was great (good pressure and drainage). We did not mind stairs as it was better than waiting for elevators. My kids tried both the outdoor and indoor pools with rave reviews. They even had a beach volleyball court. Food was plentiful and delicious at the breakfast bar, dishes and food were quickly tidied and replenished. I wish I had cash so I could leave a tip in the tip jar. Front desk staff was kind to let us do late check out for noon (1 hr) without charge. I highly recommend this basement room if your party is 6 people and you all don’t mind being in the same room and share 1 bathroom. I would stay here again."
