Brewerton- Big Bay -36 Woodworth Rd.
Beautiful Oneida Lake front home on Big Bay, totally remodeled in a cozy nautical/ fishing theme. The house is open year round for great summer time fishing as well as excellent winter time ice fishing. The front bedroom has twin beds with a smart tv. The middle bedroom has a full bed with a smart tv, and the master bedroom has a queen bed, with a smart tv, and a half bath. The livingroom has a multi positional convertible couch/ bed. The chair also converts to a small single bed. You can stay comfortable with our new central heat and A/C. , or get a nice lake breeze when opening the screened patio doors in the living room and master bedroom. We have recently added fiber optic internet, so you can stream movies on the smart tv's. Enjoy a dip in the lake off of our boat dock with a ladder, or a peaceful ride in our provided two person aluminum canoe. Depending on the weather, we usually have the dock and boatlift in the water by mid April, and out around mid October. Day or night, you can relax on our big two tier deck that looks out over the lake. Also at night, you can enjoy relaxing fires, or toasting marshmellows in our heavy duty steel fire pit, or our large rock built bond fire pit. Speaking of fire and cooking, we have a nice gas stove in the kitchen, a propane grill, and a small weber charcoal/wood grill out on the deck. We are conveniently located in proximity to several attractions such as Oneida Shores County Park, Big Bay Marina, Brewerton International Speedway, and several taverns and restaurants, We are also conveniently located just off of interstate 81. The city of Syracuse is 13 miles away, the airport is approximately 10 miles away, and our physical location is close to Brewerton and between the town of Cicero and Central Square. Both of the later mentioned towns have diners, Walmarts, fast food, pizza, auto parts stores, ice cream stands, etc. We love to share our place with good guests, and we have built nice relationships with many of them over the past several years. Thank you for taking a look, and im always available to answer questions or listen to comments. Mike.

Place was perfect for our quick fishing trip. Micheal was very quick to respond and very helpful. Location was perfect. Close to a launch, fit two boats on dock easy (one on boat lift), and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.
This was our second time staying at Mike’s place. It was ideal for our fisherman to launch the boat just a few minutes away and keep it at the dock the rest of our stay. Mike was extremely responsive, helpful and understanding when we had our own difficulties. I highly recommend Mike’s place for a lakefront getaway!
The boys and I had an amazing time. House has excellent access to the west bay, dock was perfect for fishing and a small boat. Sunrises off the dock were amazing every day with fish surfacing everywhere. We fished from kayaks mostly but did very well on bass and pike, even off the dock. Communication and help from Mike was outstanding. Already thinking about next summer.
Clean and supplied just about everything you would need. Dock fit my 19ft Bayliner but water is shallow by dock. The Canoe provided by owner is great and kids loved it. 6 people slept comfortably.
Camp…needs better/more comfortable furniture.
Nothing owner can control but backyard property next door is a real eye sore….waterfront access could use a good cleanup. I know it’s Oneida Lake and it’s not a clean lake but…..
Positives: A/C, well stocked, keyless entry, outside space
Owner went above and beyond. Mike is an excellent host!

Disappointing
The biggest problem was not the hosts fault but probably due to climate change. The lake was covered in a green slime which was very smelly and in the air you were breathing. It was not a healthy situation. The floors in the house were sticky when walking in bare feet and need to be cleaned. The bed in the front room has a mattress which is about 3 inches deep and has a big lump in the middle. If you aren't physically fit and sit on the "couch" you may not be able to get up from it. Extremely uncomfortable. We only used the oven once to heat up pizza and the smell of gas was very strong.. Otherwise everything else was ok. We enjoyed the fire pit and outside deck. I might add we stayed here last year and our experience was much better than this year.
The property was perfectly located to my family and everything that we wanted to do! The lake view is beautiful and peaceful. The host was amazing to work with. It is a lake house and you can tell it is closed up mist of the year so when you walk in it is a little musty but we opened the windows and within an hour all was fine. Will definitely stay again next time we come to town!
We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our stay. We fished off the dock, used the canoe and firepit. The location on the lake is beautiful, very quiet area. The house was tight for the 6 of us, but doable. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The AC is a plus for the hot humid days. My only issue was upon arrival we found many cobwebs and spiders in and around the sliding doors.
Great communication with Michael, easy checkin. Thanks.
Second year in a row staying here, absolutely love it. Will be booking again soon for next year, has become a yearly fishing event with my boys. Great place and great host. Thanks Mike for another great year.
We’ve been staying at Michael’s property for a few years running now. The house has everything you need and is located on a quiet street on the northwest portion of the lake. We hope to continue renting from Michael for years to come. Awesome place, awesome host. Highly recommend.

Lake trip 2022
property needs work, doors did not shut, deck needs repairs and power washing bad, the beds where very un comfortable we had to buy air mattresses. did not sleep 7 like it said. place just needs to be updated and new furniture and beds.
We stayed for a fishing trip the first week of May.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and was adequate for the five of us.
We would come back again.
Easy to rent from, check in and check out was easy. Beautiful lake!
