The suites( they are more than rooms) are marvelous. Quiet, great views and one of the most comfortable beds ever. The bathroom was also very nice, and the floor is heated. Couple that with butlered coffee and beignets each morning, and you’vr Got s high standard to beat

Our stay at Steeles Tavern Manor B & B was amazing! Every detail was meticulously thought out to make our stay the most wonderful time we have ever had! I would not hesitate to fully recommend this B & B to anyone. All kinds of wonderful places to explore in the area. The food was incredible. Ray and Melissa were perfect hosts. We are already planning a trip back there....

Great place to stop off when making trip thru Richmond

The Babcock House exceeded my expectations. The room and amenities were top shelf. The breakfast was delicious and healthy each day. The dinners were up there with any other exclusive city restaurant. It appeared that the chef used a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients to create his dinners. This bed and breakfast is one of the best I have stayed at.

The food was great! Only wish that they also had options for coffee or tea in the room and a gym. Otherwise the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The location is terrific!

Outstanding in every respect. Handsome restoration of 1914 home down to the smallest details. Mitch was a warm, gracious host with many helpful suggestions on places to dine and visit while in Richmond. Wonderful, relaxed but elegant wine and cheese serving, a tasty breakfast of fresh fruit, warm baked goods, terrific coffee and tea options, plus an offering of quiche. Beautiful Palace. Old World Splendor.

Highly recommended: a charming (& sprawling) home minutes away from restaurants and historic sites. The hosts were most welcoming, worked with us when our plans changed, and prepared a delicious breakfast for us before we began our day of history-nerding-out at Appomattox Court House. Why hang out a bland, similarly-priced chain hotel when Longacre is available?

This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,...

All I can tell you, I will stay here any and every time I’m in Charlottesville. I’ve stayed here three times in less than a year (first time was during its first week open) and each time is fantastic. The front desk staff are great and I LOVE the bartenders (Eric, Douglas, and Cicely (sp?). Until next time!

Casey is a remarkable host, delivering with her family, a very high quality experience! No amenity was overlooked. The property is in excellent condition; the grounds and setting, interesting and historical; the breakfast scrumptious and memorable; and the nearby downtown city of Orange afforded very good restaurant access. Simply, the best B & B experience we have had the pleasure to enjoy, thanks to Casey's and fam's effort!

We stayed here after attending a wedding on the grounds. The Post Office is the sweetest little cabin. We had a wonderful fire in the fire place, the bed was to die for, and in general, it was one of the most peaceful and cozy little places we have stayed. Stevenson Ridge didn't miss any of the little details, right down to delivering breakfast in a basket the next morning. We'll definitely come back!

There was nothing we didn't like!! I can't say enough good things about this Hotel, we stayed here on July 3rd for our 6 year Wedding Anniversary just a little getaway & we were not disappointed! We absolutely loved it & our stay was absolutely wonderful, everyone was so welcoming & friendly. We got into our room & had 2 yummy cookies waiting for us along with a very sweet card wishing up a Happy Anniversary, such a nice touch.
