"Like some of the reviews have already described this place..I really wondered what type of accommodation this is supposed to be, a school? A prison? A youth hostel? Definitely the strangest place I’ve stayed in and wished I’d read the reviews before booking, as I’d booked it in a rush. Stayed in 6bed female dorm, locked with a physical key rather than the normal electric which meant that I wasn’t “allowed” to lock it at night while I slept, which was scary as a solo female traveller bc anyone...

"The property manager Luis is friendly, supportive and happy to help - taking care of the guest (I remember the Spanish guy). The Hostel has a good view to the beach, walkable and can rent a bike closely. Easy access to locations. Very clean - down side is that the internet is weak in some points "

"Breakfast was quite good as was the location. The room was comfortable. I really only have one criticism and that is the lack of towel hooks was made the bathroom facilities a bit awkward.. a simple fix. The driver they arranged to take us to the bus station was outstanding. We would stay again"

"The hostel was open for barely three months when we stayed over. Everything was brand new, clean and smart. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, as were the shared restrooms. There is a beautiful terrace and the location is really terrific, just at the foothills of the university and incredible library."

"Really terrible hostel. Feels like an institution instead of a hostel. All common areas are closed so you're just paying for a bed. Breakfast is ok and the staff are very nice and pleasant. Beds are very shaky, no lockers in the rooms, no shelves for the top bunks, 1 outlet for 6 beds. "

"I went with my mother during the centenary celebration of the apparitions at Fatima and wanted to have a real feeling of the town, and not stay at a hotel. Albergue Pereira was a great choice. It is a family-owned guesthouse for many years, and staying there was like going back in time. All the furniture, elevator, room and reception area are all vintage but kept well preserved, clean and cozy (with all the usual toiletries found in a hotel). "Situated within a two minute walk from the shrine of Fatima, this hotel is most conveniently placed, with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Room was spacious, bright and clean, beds maybe a little firmer than I would like, but this I find is normal in Europe. Black out drapes ensure a dark, quiet restful environment. Front staff is kind, courteous, and most helpful Lots of parking, there is an underground, which we used as we were there for a couple of nights, but beware the narrow drive in, we had a small SUV and the vehicle alarms were screaming at me on the way down. "
