"Wonderful hosts and beautiful location. A great place for hikers and people who like to explore the nature and the woods. The town is small but the host can prepare a lovely dinner which I highly recommend. Very enjoyable stay. "

"Our stay here was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine kindness that we instantly felt at home. The host goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, and that warmth really defines the whole experience.

A perfect get away in Tuscany close to Cinque Terre
10/10 Excellent
"We had the most amazing stay at Palazzo del Duca! Mirella and Francesco were incredible hosts from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help organize everything on our wedding day, making it completely stress-free.Mirella prepared an absolutely delicious wedding meal that our guests are still talking about, and Francesco’s wine tasting was such a fun and memorable experience. The villa was the perfect place for our families to relax, spend time together, and celebrate. The rooms were charming, the area was beautiful, and we truly loved every minute of our stay.We already miss it and can’t thank Mirella and Francesco enough for making our wedding and vacation so special. We would recommend Palazzo del Duca to anyone without hesitation!"
Borgo Fosciana - private pool, walk to restaurant, ideal for large groups, WIFI
8/10 Good
"The house and grounds are lovely, as is the surrounding area. The pool was wonderful, especially since we were there during a heatwave. There is no air conditioning, but there were fans, and opening the windows at night made it easy to sleep. It was an easy walk into the village of Pieve Fosciana which has bakeries, a grocer, a butcher, a gelateria, 2 bars and a nice restaurant. There are also several good supermarkets a short drive away, but it was nice to do local shopping in the village much of the time. The owner Flaviano is a lovely and generous person, as are his parents. He prepared a pizza night for us that was really a feast, with at least 5 different types of pizzas. He also brought us homemade prosecco, fresh baked bread and focaccia during the week. We were a family of 14 adults and 2 babies, so we were split into 4 apartments. Having a property divided into multiple apartments wasn’t ideal for us, but we made the compromise since we liked everything else about the place. There was limited space for all of us to hang out together indoors. Fortunately, outside there is a large covered dining table that we used, and other outside chairs. Also the main group kitchen is actually quite small for more than one or two people to prepare food, and has limited space to store food and other pantry products. But we made it work."

"We had a wonderful stay at Raffaello and Simonetta’s property. The home was absolutely immaculate and exceptionally well maintained from the moment we arrived. They were incredibly responsive throughout our stay and always available to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. What really set this property apart was the thoughtful information they provided about the area. Their local recommendations helped us make the most of our trip and led us to some fantastic experiences we might have otherwise missed. One of our favorite aspects of the property was its peaceful setting. After spending our days exploring busy cities and popular attractions, returning to such a quiet and relaxing environment was the perfect respite. Enjoying a morning coffee while listening to birds chirping and taking in the surrounding nature was a highlight of our stay. The tranquility of the property made it easy to unwind and truly appreciate the beauty of the area.We highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future. Thank you, Raffaello and Simonetta, for being such outstanding hosts and for helping make our trip so memorable!"
"If you do not speak Italian, it is useful to know how to speak some Italian. The people are very kind and lovely, but it’s helpful to know Italian language. The setting is beautiful and food is delicious at the restaurant. The accommodations are clean, nice. I would return to the place and stay again. It is peaceful and relaxing."
"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. Appreciated Irina’s help this morning on the check out. "
"The hotel was impeccable, staff were wonderful. Property grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was extraordinary. The room was wonderfully decorated , quality linens . . We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you to the wonderful, caring staff for such a great stay."
