She also spent a lot of time giving us tourist ideas of where to go and what to see , and with WhatsApp she was always on hand to answer questions. "Wir kamen in eine sehr saubere und schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett und unkompliziert, sie sprach perfekt deutsch. Die Wohnung liegt unweit der Strandpromenade und auch zum Freibad in Suna und zum Hafen in Pallanza ist es nicht weit. Für die Versorgung gibt es Gaststätten in der Umgebung, es kann aber selbst in der umfangreich ausgestatteten Küche gekocht werden. Die Supermärkte Esselunga und Lidl sind fußläufig , aber natürlich auch mit dem Auto...

"Wir haben die Zeit am Orta-See in Pella sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich (für vier Erwachsene etwas klein), die Terasse ist toll mit Blick auf den See, der Weg zum See wirklich kurz. Super, dass an allen Fenstern Moskitonetze sind! Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und immer ansprechbar."

Help was a telephone call away and when our hire car got a small bump (which could have cost us a huge fortune back at the airport) she made contact with a garage in Bolzano and sorted everything for us. Thank you so much. The only thing I would warn UK visitors about is the propensity of speed camera in northern Italy, be warned...

"We had a lovely 4 day stay in Pella in early October at the end of our 2 week Italian tour. We'd had a busy time and Pella was just the perfect ending to our trip. The village is beautiful with just the right amenities to get by, the local shop is next door and has all the essentials, anf there are 2 restaurants and a gelateria by the lakeside. The appartment is well equipped and comfortable adn Fabrizio was the perfect host, with his son even coming to pick us up from the railway station! I...

"Die Wohnung ist schön, geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, alles funktioniert. Auf dem kleinen Balkon kann man nur zu zweit sitzen.. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super- man ist in wenigen Schritten im Zentrum, am See und vor allem an der Schiffsanlegestelle. Alle Geschäfte, auch ein Supermarkt sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass sich nebenan eine „Birreria“ befindet, in der (außer sonntags) bis spät in die Nacht gefeiert wurde....

"Für einen Kurzurlaub mit vier Personen ist diese helle und modern eingerichtete Wohnung bestens geeignet (zu zweit auch für einen langen Urlaub)! In ca. 10min ist man zu Fuß im Stadtzentrum und am Lago Maggiore. In Stresa und Umgebung gibt es generell viele Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten, so dass wir uns nie gelangweilt haben. Auch das Kochen war in der kleinen aber feinen Küche gar kein Problem. Tipp: Weiteres Geschirr und größere Pfannen findet man im Schrank im Essbereich :)"

"Beautiful roof top apartment with spacious terrace and gorgeous view of lake Maggiore. Parking was available on the street by the entrance to the building. There is no AC and it was hot in August, however we enjoyed our stay very much. Walkable distance to the ferry and the center. Highly recommended!"

"Amazing view on lake. Nice flat and terrace. About 10min from the city, located on the hill. Lots of things to discover around including the islands on the lake. Some issue with the tub but it has been improved during our stay."
