"I had a number of Athletes taking part in the Ironman on both Saturday and Sunday. I found the hotel basic but comfortable and very well catered for the athletes. Bikes were allowed in the rooms, breakfast was made easily, the rooms are quite and location for the event village was perfect. The staff are superb and friendly and very willing to help. Great stay. "Lovely hotel, facilities and staff. Room was pretty small with no mini bar for drinking/wine glasses and room service added to bill when requesting glasses and wine opener which was pretty strange as standard for most hotels! "

Only disappointment was that the advertisement/property description made it sound like free bikes would be available as well as beech umbrellas/lounge chairs. In reality, these were only available at a slightly discounted rate with certain vendors. "

"The Palace Hotel, Cervia is an excellent hotel of its kind in Cervia with excellent premises. and mainly excellent and pleasant frontline staff, except perhaps one. The hotel manager was very kind enough to bring up himself to the room my wife's lost bag which was eventually found but the concierge was not very helpful when she first reported about it. The front desk staff were also very proactive in quickly finding us an alternative, better sea-view room. The hotel is also a pet-friendly hotel and there were a few dogs we saw staying in the hotel with their owners. This means some rooms may have a flea problem as we encountered flea (bed bug?) bites in our otherwise perfect room! Nice and very courteous breakfast lounge staff."
