We loved every minute of our stay at the Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from parking to recommendations about meals and sightseeing and ensuring that all guests were comfortable during an unprecedented heat wave. We loved the location, within short walk of all Cesky Krumlov's many delights, but away from the immediate noise and tourist traffic. Breakfast was fresh and provided a wide range of food options each morning.

The villa is decent, and the room size is adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. We weren’t able to get an Uber to the bus station, but the staff assisted us in calling a taxi. The continental breakfast is also good. Highly recommended.

The Villa Areka can only be recommended - top location, in a few minutes you are in the wonderful old town! Rooms in top renovated condition, where you immediately feel at home. Wonderful view from the room of the beautiful old town and the castle! Very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast buffet!

The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was nice. The hotel was located near the center of the town, so it was very convenient for strolling around the town. Moreover, the room was clean, but a little bit small, so it was inconvenient to place two pieces of luggage. If I have a chance to visit this town again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

Liked the proximity to the city center and the variety of breakfast choices. I had a ground-floor room, so I easily heard passersby on the street and people coming in/leaving the hotel. Recommend bringing ear plugs (and eye mask as the curtains don't block out all light).

Overall, a good stay

The view from the room was pretty and the firework show over the city was a wonderful surprise! The room was nice - but the bed was too firm and the room was not soundproof, so laughing from the lobby and the closing of doors was heard very easily. Other than that it was a nice stay and lovely to cross the bridge over the river from the hotel into the beautiful town.
